What we give grants for

Professional Development and Training

Grants for conservators who have already gained their first qualification to attend training, courses, conferences and workshops.

Bursaries for qualified conservation staff for post-graduation internships in Museums, Galleries and sometimes Private Sector conservation companies.

Equipment

Grants for museums, galleries and private sector conservation companies only. equipment to be used with sculpture can include storage and handling as well as conservation, but does not include exhibitions unless the exhibition is about sculpture conservation.

The majority of grants awarded are under £5,000.

The Trust favours applications that have a relevance to modern and contemporary sculpture, although some may have a wider application.

We do not fund

Conservation of individual works of art, including the work of Naum Gabo, or study for first qualifications in conservation, or degree fees.
