Bursaries and Interns

The Trust has supported students to gain doctorates and other qualifications, and to further their professional experience with internships in leading institutions. These include Tate London, City & Guilds of London Art School, The National Gallery in Washington, and the Opificio della Pietre Dure in Florence. The Trust does not fund undergraduate studies.

Further Education and Training

Attendance at workshops and technical courses has been supported in subjects as diverse as laser cleaning, stonework conservation, moving heavy objects in museums and conservation of plastics.

Research

Research projects funded include patination, the stains on white marble, the cultural sensitivities in exhibiting Maori artefacts, the practical, legal and ethical concerns of museums involved with replicas of sculpture, and the degradation of plastics. The Travelling Scholarships also promote research in a great diversity of subjects. To learn more about them click here
